Made Us Look is a free magazine about the everyday things that make life a little easier: better sleep, a kitchen that works with you, feet that don't ache by evening, and travel that doesn't wear you out. Every week we share short, practical stories and quick quizzes that you can read in a few minutes and use the same day.

We write for people who want straight answers. No jargon, no endless scrolling to find the point, and big, clear type that's easy to read on any screen.

What we promise you

We always tell you when a story is paid for. Some stories are paid for by brand partners. Those stories are clearly marked "Partner story" or "Advertorial" at the top and include a note that explains the partnership. We never pass off a paid story as our own.

We're open about how we make money. Partner stories, and the links in them, are how we keep Made Us Look free to read. If you buy something through one of those links, we may earn money from the sale. Our own stories are never paid for.

We show our sources. Our quizzes link to the sources behind their answers, so you can check them yourself.

We don't play doctor. Our health stories explain the basics in plain words and tell you when it's time to see a professional. They are never a replacement for medical advice.

We respect your time and your inbox. Reading a story or taking a quiz is free, with no paywall and no sign-up. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and our privacy policy explains what we collect and why.

We fix our mistakes. If you spot something we got wrong, tell us at hello@madeuslook.com. We'll check it and correct it.

How we choose our stories

We look for the small things that made us stop and think "I didn't know that": a habit that saves money, a fix that takes five minutes, or the real reason something at home doesn't work the way it should. If it's useful, true and easy to act on, it's a Made Us Look story.
